Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa marked Eid al Fitr with a heartfelt and vibrant celebration for its associates on March 20, 2026, bringing the entire team together on the evening of Eid at the Futsal Ground for a traditional Jaafaiy feast. At the heart of the celebration was the Jaafaiy dinner, a cherished Maldivian tradition that embodies unity and generosity. The feast featured a beautifully presented Malaafaiy, an ornate, lacquered wooden dish wrapped in colorful fabric, symbolizing abundance and togetherness. Thoughtfully prepared traditional dishes and refreshing drinks were shared among associates, creating a warm and intimate communal dining experience that truly captured the spirit of Eid.

The celebration also marked the official inauguration of the Sheraton Recreation Committee, a thoughtful initiative aligned with Marriott International’s TakeCare program.
