Visit Maldives digitalises procurement process through new Vendor platform

The Visit Maldives Vendor Platform officially launched today, digitising and streamlining the procurement process to deliver a more efficient and seamless experience. The platform increases accessibility for both local and international suppliers, standardising the vendor registration and evaluation to improve transparency and fairness during the procurement process. 

Through online vendor registration on the newly launched platform, vendors can create and manage their company profiles, register and submit required documents, receive RFPs, RFQs and procurement invitations, and stay informed about new procurement opportunities through automated notifications. The platform also enables secure online document submission and allows companies to update their information easily, enhancing efficiency, transparency and creating a more user friendly procurement process while reducing administrative time and paperwork through a fully digitized system. 

The launch of the vendor portal simplifies and provides equal access to procurement opportunities to vendors via a faster registration process and simplified document management. This process aims to create better communication with the vendors and fully practice transparency throughout the procurement process. 

Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC) encourages local and international businesses, existing suppliers and new vendors register on the newly launched Visit Maldives Vendor Platform via vendor.vmc.mv, providing an accessible and transparent gateway for all eligible suppliers to register, participate in procurement opportunities and engage with VMC through a more efficient digitised process.
